Easy no knead bread recipe.

Ingredients

  • bread flour

  • water

  • kosher salt

  • active dry yeast

Directions

  • Put all the dry ingredients in a bowl stir well to combine. Add water and stir for about a minute until all the ingredients are combined into a dough. Cover with plastic wrap and leave out on the counter for about a minimum of 6 hours, 8-10 is better.
  • Prep a Dutch oven by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it with oil.
  • Dump out on a well floured surface. Stretch the dough lightly into a rectangle shape. Fold as you would a piece of paper going into an envelope. Place in Dutch oven and cover. Let rest another 30-60 minutes.
  • Open the top and gently slash the top with a sharp knife in a square or x shape.
  • Place in a cold oven and turn on to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake bread for 30 minutes covered in a dutch oven or something similar to that. Uncover and bake for another 15 minutes. Remove from oven and parchment paper/dutch oven. Cool on a rack.

Notes

  • Options:
    300g bread flour/ 240g whole wheat flour
    Can also use all purpose flour
